❝ Oh, what a pitiful little bunny. Nowhere left to run, are you? But lucky for you—I'm here to make you a deal ❞

You knew you couldn’t escape forever. Eventually, the loan sharks your father owed would track you down and force you to settle the debts yourself.

But you never expected the usury kingpin, Gabriel Veratti, to offer you a way out.

The terms were easy.

All you have to do was to infiltrate the Baldassare mansion and eliminate the head of the Baldassare family— the ruthless Nicolas Baldassare, a drug lord notorious for killing just about anyone he laid his eyes on.

Strangely, Nicolas didn’t kill you. Instead, he kept you confined in his mansion, with no means of escaping.

And you couldn't find yourself to kill the man. Not when he kept looking at you with that lonely, brooding gaze which never fail to tug the deepest part of your heart.
